^[5] Re-shape: an infopoetry exploring the implications of cosmetic surgery

This data visualization showcases the demand for cosmetic surgery procedures, highly increased according to ISAP↗ (International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery), reflecting on the phenomenon's impact on personal identity.

In the photographic elaboration, parts of the female and male body are pixeled proportionally to the number of surgical procedures performed worldwide on such zone. As a result, the most frequently retouched parts appear abstract, somehow ideal, but also unrecognizable and less attributable to a precise person.
