An exploration of digital illustration styles through fishes in bowls

This project, which to date counts roughly 25 pieces, started during quarantine as a way to keep experimenting visually in the field of illustration.

The parallelism between a goldfish living in a bowl and life during the pandemic is undoubtedly easy to grasp, but there's more to me. We can see just our small slice of cosmo; we fall into loops and can't control many things happening to us; we need a "bigger bowl" for a chance to grow. In many ways, we are always like these creatures: dealing with barriers and trying to make the best out few litres of water.
